I first heard of ROUGH PMA through a friend, and ended up joining mostly because I was looking for a way to get fit without spending many boring hours at the gym. I started out going once or twice a week, and felt somewhat awkward at first as I had no martial arts background. However, the instructors’ patient coaching and friendly demeanors soon put me at ease, and by the end of the month I was visting the gym four times a week; the many available time slots making it easy to fit into my busy university schedule. The instructors are clearly experienced, and pay a great deal of attention to techniques. There is also aplenty one-to-one coaching in addition to drills at the punching bag. One always leaves refreshed and relaxed from having had a great workout.
